IIMA to hold classes for retired defence officers

SB AHMEDABAD: IIMA is all set to impart business education to defence officers who have just retired, or who are on the verge of retirement. The certificate course in business administration will be held for officers of the Indian armed forces — army, air force and navy — from October, an official statement said.

National Technical Research Organisations (NTRO) New Cyber Chief ANIL CHOUDHRY, who retired as secretary (Internal Security) to Home Ministry, has now been appointed in the National Technical Research Organisation (NTRO) to monitor the functioning of its cyber unit. The NTRO is part of the National Security Council. Choudhry along with M.B. Kaushal, is the only IPS officer to have retired as a full secretary to government of India. Taiwan generals Japan visit irks China China has demanded more details from the Japanese government over reports that Taiwans army commander in chief attended a military drill in Japan, officials said on Friday. Local media have said Gen. Hu Chen-pu inspected a large-scale military drill by Japans Self-Defence Forces near Mount Fuji in central Japan on Thursday. Japans defence chief, Fukushiro Nukaga, said Tokyo has received "an inquiry" from Beijing on the matter.
